A lot of ask me if it's better to work out in the morning, afternoon or at night. But it's sort of a trick question. There is some evidence to suggest that for losing fat, exercising first thing in the morning on an empty stomach may actually be the most effective. However, many people are simply not "good" in the morning. If you're not a morning person, trying to train in a way that goes against your body's natural rhythms isn't necessarily going to guarantee you better results, just because there are scientific studies. So the correct answer to this question is very personal: whatever time of day you feel the best and have the most energy to train is the best for you - because that will produce the best results.
